  1. I cant wait to enter my film! I hope I get in! I'm going to submit my senior thesis film I shot earlier this year called The Black Guitar. I got some awesome handheld shots using the Habbycam HD Camera Brace...well I shouldn't say I got the handeld stuff... my DP did. It's a cool little produce.

  2. Ack! REALLY wanted to submit "A.L.I.C.E." and "Covariance", but I'll be in China then ("A.L.I.C.E." is in the Beijing Int'l Movie Fest.) Any chance my LA-based cast and crew could represent should either get in?

  3. It would be unfortunate if you couldn't attend, but understandable. Congrats on the Bejing!...Yes, you can absolutely have others represent the film or films. However, we would need it to be a producer, writer or lead actor, at the very least - someone who could be an informed and recognizable point person for the film. Possible?

  5. regarding the HD requirement( HD master of the film is available for screening purposes.)
what if it was shot in SD and I have a DVD professional transfer done-- would that qualify? Or does project have to originate in HD to be considered. Thank you

  6. It doesn't have to originate in HD, but you do need to up-res to HD - either as an HD quicktime file or strike an HD tape master - for screening at the event.
