It's a...I see it as just the opposite, Matthew. It's a healthy appreciation, but also an ironic rejection of where he stands in the "hierarchy" of independent film. I've seen too many filmmakers crushed (along with their cast, crew and investors) under the weight of their own unrealistic expectations. So, it's important for filmmakers to manage their expectations and be clear about their work and it's potential in the marketplace.
